What you ran into
- On a Mac, an agent that kept stopping within minutes of starting looked like any other agent on its card.
- On a Mac, when a Claude sign-in ended, the warning did not say when your agents would stop.
- Over Kosmos+, clicking a file tried to open it on the computer running Kosmos, not on the device you were using.
- On a phone with no agents yet, a notice at the top covered the New agent button.
What changed
On a Mac, an agent that keeps stopping within minutes of starting now shows "Keeps stopping" on its card, with how many times Kosmos restarted it in the last half hour. If you have turned on phone notifications with Kosmos+, your phone is told too.
On a Mac, the sign-in warning now says when your agents will stop, for example "at about 6:27 PM", and asks you to sign in again before then. It says the sign-in has expired only once that time has passed.
New agents are told to put bigger work on a task before they start, with "Done when" checks anyone could answer yes or no, and to say how each check went when they finish. Agents you already have are offered the change.
Over Kosmos+, clicking a file now downloads it to the device you are using.
On a phone with no agents yet, the notice no longer covers the New agent button.
Why this way
A count you can see. The card says how many times Kosmos restarted the agent in the last half hour, because that is something Kosmos can count for certain.
A time you can act on. While the agents can still work, what matters is how long they have, so the warning names a time and keeps "expired" for when that time has passed.
Checks anyone can answer. A "Done when" check has a yes or no answer, so you can tell whether the work is finished, not only the agent.
The device in your hand. Kosmos+ is how you reach the computer running Kosmos from somewhere else, so a file you click there comes to the device you are using.
